The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation

The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation is a registered Australian charity set up with the aims of raising awareness and funding research into brain cancer.

The mission of the Foundation is to increase the 5 year survival-rate of brain cancer sufferers to 50% by the year 2023.

 

Taking up a challenge in memory of Vivien Witherden

In 2017 Bell Legal Group tragically lost a dearly loved member of staff, Vivien Witherden, to brain cancer.

In Vivien’s memory and to help raise funds to help research this terrible disease, Bell Legal Group’s General Manager Nicole Anderson is taking up the Trek 4 Brain Cancer challenge.

 

Nicole to trek across the red centre of Australia

Starting on 19 May 2019 Nicole will be trekking 70 kilometres of the Larapinta Trail. A challenging 6 day walk from Alice Springs across the West MacDonnell Ranges will see Nicole sleeping beneath the stars at night as she forgoes creature comforts in memory of a friend.

Of course in her undertaking the challenge Nicole’s goal is to support the Foundation. To do this she needs help from sponsors. Any amount that you can donate to support Nicole in her efforts would be very gratefully appreciated. All proceeds raised will go directly to brain cancer research.
